2008: Year in Review
Scorpion would like to thank everyone for their support and their
business over the last year. Even in such uncertain economic times as
we have seen recently, Scorpion has seen unprecedented growth with
every passing day. The only reason we have been able to be so
successful is through the hard work and dedication of our customers. We
are very grateful to everyone who purchases our products and we promise
to do our best to work just as hard and continue our dedication to be a
customer service based organization.
Outside of general sales numbers, Scorpion has had many exciting things happen this year:
- We have had over 200 people/companies join the Scorpion family this
year. This does not include all the people who bought a small amount of
material for special projects or new international dealers. It is very
humbling to know that we have so many people across the nation and
around the world that believe enough in our company enough to invest in
us even in the toughest of times. To all of our new dealers, we look
forward to working with you throughout this upcoming year and many
years after that.
- Scorpion continued its international expansion throughout 2008. We
did so by the outstanding performance of our already established
distributors and the emergence of many new ones. Here is a list of many
of the countries/territories that Scorpion exported to in 2008: Canada,
Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada,
Barbados, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Australia,
Philippines, Puerto Rico, Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela, Columbia, Peru,
Chile, Nigeria, Portugal, U.K., Russia, Puerto Rico, UAE, amongst
others.
-Scorpion received its ISO 9001:2000 certification on October 18, 2008.

Speaking of SEMA...
In past editions of the Stinger we mentioned our success at this past
year’s SEMA Show, but I failed to thank all of our applicators who came
and saw us at the booth. At this time I would like to formally thank
the following dealers for coming and visiting us at this year’s show:
Toys-4-Trux, Pick-Up Pals, New Dale Body, Auto Spa, Radical Design,
Trick Trucks (#14), Custom Image, Dan’s Custom Auto, Belgrade
Accessories and Twisted Creationz. I would like to apologize in advance
for anyone who may have been omitted from this list.
